The game has received a decent quality of life update in the form of a better input system when using fling stars.
It was quite annoying to not be able to shoot in the direction you know you need to go just because your cursor was near the side of the screen when you first pressed right click. This new system locks you cursor to the centre of the screen and calculates the direction based on mouse movement, not from a set start and end position like the old system. This means you should always be able to launch in any direction no matter what!
If you prefer the old system, it can be enabled through the options menu.

- - Reworked the cursor input for using fling stars!
- The cursor is now locked to the screen and is hidden ingame.
- - Other than that it should feel the same to use them (pull the mouse back like a slingshot).
- - This change stops the cursor from getting stuck at the edge of the screen, blocking you from being able to fling in the direction you want to (Thanks Cryptic Hybrid!).
- You can still use the old system if you want by enabling it from the options menu.
- - Fixed the screen fade-out effect from breaking if you died while exiting to the menu (Thanks trav!)
